Who is this wannabe pop star / copywriter?

I'm Stéphanie — a Colorado-based copywriter who often wonders if reading five books at a time is too much.

When I’m not lost in a good read, I’m doing yoga, hiking, or running nearby trails. Or, more often than not, hanging out with my husband, two kids, two cats, and many plants.

I've been writing professionally since 2017, with a marketing background that’s taught me how to find the language that matters, even when it’s easy to miss.

When I launched Bright Spot Copywriting… 

It was early 2022. And I was overwhelmed. I needed offers, a website, a marketing strategy, and most of all, clients — all in one go. 

The overwhelm I felt as a result came from more than having too much on my plate, though. I was running my business by taking advice everyone swears by because it worked for them.

But it's not that simple.

I niched down and marketed myself as a health and wellness copywriter — and learned this meant saying no to exciting projects in different industries. So I said no to niching instead.

Offering SEO strategy and keyword research was burning out my creative bulb, so I scaled it back. And my creativity lit up again.

I realized that following trends and overhauling offers based on someone else’s advice wasn’t going to get me where I was going. But trusting my own work would. 

That’s the energy I bring to my clients.

The brands and founders I partner with trust their work, too. They know that excellent results need strategic and creative thinking first. They’re also growing fast and need messaging that keeps up.

That’s where I come in.
